About Us
I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Masters in Social Work in 2013 and went to work at a local community mental health agency the following five years. During that time, I served as the Director of Crisis Services providing emergency mental health screening and forensic services to the local jails and mental health court. I also provided group therapy, individual therapy and helped design and support community outreach services. In 2018 I was awarded Practitioner of the Year by the Arkansas Behavioral Health Council through Little Rock Community Mental Health Center. I have been in private practice the past five years and have continued to serve in corrections as a volunteer with the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility in Sheriff Eric Higgins C.S.I. program. I lead a trauma support group with the womens unit and helped facilitate placement and recovery support to the women after they were released. I also worked, as a contract therapist at a inpatient drug treatment facility in Central Arkansas in addition to offering weekly in person and telehealth services to my clients. I have returned to Carroll County as a full time resident after several years as a part time resident and practitioner. I am excited to be a part of the integrative health network in Carroll and Pulaski Counties and look forward to serving this community.
